On March 28, 2014 SmartPaani became on of the 5 winners of the 2013 Surya Nepal Social Entrepreneur Awards. Out of 119 original applicants, they were screened and 40 semi-finalists announced. From these 40, 10 Finalists were selected and the 5 winners announced at a ceremony on the 28th of March.
SmartPaani is honored to be among the winners of the award. Our awarded fellow are doing amazing work and it was amazing to share the stage with them. This award is a validation of the work we are doing and our mission to spread sustainable water technologies across Nepal. Our plan is to take this award and the name recognition it has added to expand to 11 urban nodal points across Nepal. Below is some of the media coverage of the Award.
