SmartPaani’s FilterPlus-WASH in School model is a new way to mainstream sustainable clean solutions in schools. This model delivers lasting impact, challenging the traditional ‘Fit and Forget’ method, where filters are typically installed without any follow-up support.
The Filter Plus Model targeted at schools includes:
- Durable Water Filters
- Regular WASH Training
- Maintenance Service (5 years)
This model provides clean drinking water in a school at a one-time cost of $10 per student. Students get daily access to a clean water source and understand the benefits of clean water. WASH Education and dedicated local entrepreneurs increase the adoption of healthy habits both at schools and in homes.
